Dr. Behnam (Ben) Sharareh is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions and procedures. Raised in Laguna Niguel, CA, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UCLA and his medical degree from UC Irvine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dr. Sharareh completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. Joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2022, he treats traumatic and degenerative conditions of the upper extremity, offering expertise in procedures such as anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty, the Ream and Run procedure, shoulder and elbow arthroscopy, tendon reconstruction, sternoclavicular reconstruction, scapulothoracic fusion, elbow arthroplasty, and ligament reconstruction.
