Dr. Daniel Acevedo is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow reconstruction. A Southern California native, he completed his undergraduate and medical school education at UC Irvine, earning election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and numerous awards for academic and clinical excellence. He trained in orthopedic surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and received the Herman Epstein Award for best senior resident. Dr. Acevedo further refined his expertise during a fellowship at the renowned Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, gaining advanced training in shoulder and elbow replacements, arthroscopy, instability, fractures, rotator cuff repairs, tendon transfers, and sports injuries, including Tommy John surgery.
