Dr. Jason Liauw is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in complex spine surgery, minimally invasive spine procedures, and brain tumor surgery. A Mission Viejo native, he attended St. John’s Episcopal School, Aliso Viejo Middle School, and Capistrano Valley High School before earning his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his neurosurgery residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as Chief of Service under Dr. Ziya Gokaslan, a renowned expert in complex spine surgery. During his tenure, Johns Hopkins was ranked #1 in neurosurgery by U.S. News & World Report and had one of the largest surgical volumes in the nation.
