Dr. Katherine Wagner completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at Wellesley College and earned her medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She helped manage a student-run clinic, provided medical care at a homeless shelter, and received multiple scholarships from the school’s Alumni Association. Dr. Wagner completed her neurosurgery residency at Hofstra/Northwell Health, including a neuro-oncology fellowship specializing in brain tumor surgery, laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT), and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). During her residency, she developed a strong interest in spine surgery, particularly in neuro-navigation, robotic surgery, and spinal instrumentation. She further refined her skills through a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at Stanford University, where she treated diverse spinal conditions, including infections, tumors, and deformities, using both minimally invasive and open techniques.
