Dr. Nathan Hammel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, orthopedic oncology, and fracture care. A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Hammel is recognized nationally for his expertise and has lectured at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery Annual Meeting on multiple occasions. He earned his medical degree cum laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, followed by a fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology at the University of Miami.
