Dr. Thomas T. Terramani is a board-certified vascular surgeon and founding member of Vascular Associates of San Diego, established in 2005. With extensive expertise in the treatment of arterial and venous disorders, he specializes in both vascular and endovascular care. Dr. Terramani completed his medical degree, general surgery residency at the University of Southern California, and a two-year fellowship in vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at Emory University. He is recognized for his innovative contributions to lumbar spine surgery, including developing patented retractor systems and novel minimally invasive techniques for anterior, oblique, and lateral spinal exposure. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications and 7 book chapters, demonstrating his dedication to advancing vascular and spine surgery. Dr. Terramani continues to provide expert care to patients with vascular disease and collaborates with spine surgeons throughout San Diego County.
