Biography

Dr. Tracey C. Didinger is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder and knee conditions. She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado and has experience serving as a team physician for NHL and collegiate athletes. Her clinical expertise includes rotator cuff injuries, ACL tears, meniscus injuries, patellar instability, and other sports-related orthopedic conditions. She provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatment, with an emphasis on accurate diagnosis and individualized care.

Dr. Didinger believes treatment should be guided by each patient's specific condition, functional goals, lifestyle, and expectations. Her approach begins with understanding what is limiting a patient and identifying the most appropriate solution—whether that involves rehabilitation, other nonsurgical treatments, or surgery. She emphasizes that seeing an orthopedic surgeon does not necessarily mean surgery is required and takes time to discuss conservative treatment options when they may provide meaningful results.

Her philosophy is centered on helping patients achieve their individual definition of recovery. For an athlete, that may mean returning to competitive sport; for another patient, it may mean improving strength, mobility, sleep, or the ability to perform everyday activities without pain. Dr. Didinger works closely with patients to develop treatment plans designed around those goals.

Dr. Didinger's surgical expertise includes minimally invasive joint replacement, hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, and knee replacement, in addition to surgical treatment of sports-related shoulder and knee conditions. She incorporates minimally invasive techniques when appropriate, with the goal of addressing the underlying condition while supporting recovery and return to function.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Dr. Didinger's work is helping patients regain mobility, strength, and function. She particularly values following patients through their recovery and seeing how orthopedic care can improve their quality of life beyond the immediate injury.

Her areas of expertise include sports medicine, shoulder injuries, rotator cuff tears, hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, ACL tears, meniscus injuries, patellar instability, minimally invasive joint replacement, and knee replacement, as well as both surgical and nonsurgical treatment of orthopedic conditions. She is committed to providing patients with clear information about their treatment options and developing care plans that align with their individual goals.
